On Teachers' Day, President Ram Nath Kovind conferred the National Teachers' Awards on 47 teachers from across the country on Saturday.
"Good buildings or expensive equipment do not make a good school. It is teachers who do it. They are the ones who lay the foundation of knowledge and character in students," he said.
