New Delhi: The CBI on Tuesday said it has summoned Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Manipur Ibobi Singh for questioning on Wednesday in an alleged Rs 332 crore misappropriation case. Officials in the agency said the case pertains to misappropriation of development funds between 2009 and 2017, when he was the chairman of the Manipur Development Society. They said a team of CBI sleuths had reached Imphal and the former CM would be quizzed at the agency office on June 24. TNS
